Think US motorbikes and you think hogs, choppers and any number of metal beasts that scare children and make mothers want to lock up their daughters. The Asian and European approach is a little more streamlined – lighter, faster bikes that mirror their racing counterparts, but with very little soul or personality. In design terms they are worlds apart. But one US firm is hoping to modernise things radically. Victory Motorcycles has created the Vision 800 Concept which, for US bikes, is a real departure. An 800cc engine, long-wheelbase, 4-stroke, liquid cooled and aluminium frame but, just look at how they put it together. Batman eat your heart out.
